Q: What was the worst trouble you got in during your school days?
A: One time, in junior high, I was waiting for hours after school was over for my parents to pick me up as I often did with a couple of other kids, and I had a marker.. I found out that if you swing the marker ink sprays out of it.. so I swung the marker all up and down the outside hall or walkway or whatever you call it spraying ink all over the wall. The next day there was a big deal over it, which for some reason I hadn't anticipated at all, and the principle discovered it was me who did it (probably one of the two kids I was with tattled on me), and I got a paddling (it was a Christian school). I was also ordered to clean up all the mess, but fortunately the janitor guy helped me and actually did it all for me, just by spraying water on the walls with the hose.
I actually believed, while I was spraying the walls with ink, that I wasn't logically responsible for it because the ink shouldn't have been able to spray from the marker and was a defect of the marker and the fault of the manufacturer, or because I wasn't directly affecting the walls, or something like that, so I didn't see anything wrong with it and I wasn't afraid of any kind of reprimand. It's hard f or me to relate now to what I could possibly have actually been thinking then, I had some sort of hyper-strict/hyper-logical way of thinking that was so severe it must have bordered on being a personality disorder or something.
